Professor Christina Cunliffe, a Barrow born chiropractor, has been awarded an OBE in recognition of her services to healthcare education. As a child Christina (maiden name Grafton) lived in the Devonshire buildings overlooking the shipyard. She attended Barrow Island Primary School. Under her leadership the McTimoney College of Chiropractic has grown from a single site in Oxfordshire to become an international organisation with schools in Spain and Hong Kong. Francis and Rachel know Christina personally. We think this honour is well deserved.
