Rachel Wilson has worked in a variety of administrative and management roles within the National Health Service. During the 1990s she worked at Woodbridge Hill Surgery in Guildford, Surrey, where she was Patient Services Manager, a role which included support for the chiropractic service. In 1998 she obtained a Diploma in Practice Management.

Before moving to Cumbria, Rachel’s more recent experience was in aspects of quality improvement at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, where she worked with commissioners and with the Trust Board. She is a Certified Strategic Manager and Fellow of the Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists (CS Mgr FAMS). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Primary Care (FIPC).
